Books like SJM’s definitely have a strong potential to give unrealistic expectations, but I feel like as long as I continue to recognize them as fantasy I’ll be ok. The relationships are still fun to indulge in, but it’s so easy to get caught up in them and idolize them and lose sight of reality. So read with caution! Haha
