Today, someone came and pulled her out of class to check on them, make sure they’re working ok, see if anything needs to be fixed.
She takes my sister’s hearing aids, and while they are in her hands, starts making conversation with my sister. Who can’t hear a thing.
So my sister is desperately reading her lips, nodding along in a conversation she couldn’t hear a word of… and the lady doesn’t even clue in
It really doesn’t look like it, but I just chopped 4 inches! Pretty big deal for a girl who hasn’t cut her hair in two years
Nose piercing was also going to happen today but they were closed 😦 so hopefully sometime this week!

Hair appointment Sunday, hopefully getting my nose pierced in the next week or two, my family is starting foster care for babies in the next few months… exciting stuff!
Nana: *calls my mom the cheesecake lady*

Nana: *confused, slightly offended* you don’t? That’s weird

something “hilarious” happened to my friend this morning and she was laughing and freaking out about it when we met up at lunch, only she refused to tell me what happened (because I “wouldn’t react the way she wanted me to”)
alright, that’s chill. We disagree on some fundamental stuff so I understand if she wouldn’t want to get into a debate or anything.
only she wouldn’t stop vaguely talking about it or giggling every now and then… but still refused to tell me about it
my other friend shows up at our lunch spot and she won’t tell her either. She’s waiting for our third friend.
finally, the third friend shows up. My friend goes and stands next to her (me and second friend are still right there, not even a foot away) and is all like “oh my god I have to tell you something!” and starts to half-whisper.
Then oml THEN she goes “Oh, [second friend] you can hear this too”….
LIKE?????? I’m standing right here, just tell me too??
anyway I’m pissed and kind of move a few feet away and put in my headphones (because I wouldn’t want to accidentally hear whatever this super secret story is) and I just stand there and eat by myself while they gossip for literally 15 minutes
then she calls me back over “Oh I’m done we’re on a totally different conversation now!”
smh
I’m wearing my spring jacket and sunnies today, but also my winter boots and mittens.
The sky is a gorgeous, clear blue (not a single cloud), but there’s 8cm of snow on the ground
