So I was watching some animal documentaries (mostly hawk and mountain lion, no reason…) when I learned that mountain lions have blue eyes that turn tawny into adulthood.

Now I’m just imagining Aedion waking up one day and looking in the mirror and thinking that the golden rim around his eyes is getting bigger. Until eventually the turquoise fades away entirely. 

And he notices and heads to a Healer cause he thinks somethings wrong. They tell him everything’s fine and nothings wrong with him. That his eyes just changed color.

Cue Gavriel barging into the room, cause he heard Aedion was in the Healers  He looks at the Healer who tells him everything is fine, and Aedion is just concerned about his eyes changing color.

Gavriel looks at Aedion. And he starts beaming like an idiot. And Aedion is just looking around the room all confused
