Regarding your Nesta question – I guess I might have tried to do an intervention sooner maybe? I also would have had it with immediate family only first, so just sisters, and not have another person go fetch her for the meeting, especially someone she’s not currently getting along with. I’m sure Cass going to get her and having Rhys there made her feel a little ganged up on. At least I know I would feel like that if it were me, and if I felt like that it would make me want to talk even less.

I love this. Thank you.

Nesta is introverted, she’s private, and so yeah, having Cassian go get her? And then Rhys intimidating her? Yikes. 😦

I agree that they should have done the intervention sooner. I haven’t seen anyone mention this (again, I don’t scroll the tags), but Feyre was 100% enabling Nesta’s behavior by paying her rent. That’s something she shouldn’t have been doing, so in that way I agree that Feyre wasn’t approaching Nesta in the right way.

And Elain may have been enabling implicitly by letting Nesta isolate. They probably hadn’t lived under separate roofs their entire lives until this book. That makes me sad. 😦

I totally agree that the intervention should have been done differently. The whole scene made me so uncomfortable because I knew exactly how Nesta felt. My friends staged an intervention with me last semester and it was utterly humiliating, I felt like I was being attacked and I could only sit there and let them yell at me. I hate that Feyre made Nesta go through that, even though something really did need to be done about her.
